Dr. Lou W Turchetta is a Licensed Psychologist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who provides services to children, adolescents and adults suffering from a wide range of difficulties. His research is in the areas of anxiety and biofeedback and he specializes in working with anxiety disorders.

Having completed a BA in psychology from Rhode Island College in 2002, Lou then completed a master’s degree in elementary and middle school education from Roger Williams University in 2005. He earned a second master’s degree in special education from Providence College in 2010. He also completed an advanced training program and earned a certification in severe and profound disabilities. Lou completed is doctorate in school psychology at the University of Rhode Island.

Lou has been a teacher at a number of public-school districts in Rhode Island and has worked with all age levels and ability levels. Lou is currently an assistant professor of psychology at the Community College of Rhode Island and also teaches graduate and undergraduate psychology courses at other higher education institutions in RI.
